Dark Line Systems — Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala

1. Scope of Business

Dark Line Systems provides sales, rentals, maintenance services, and spare parts (new and reconditioned) for printing and office automation equipment, including photocopiers, printers (Xerox, Canon, Konica Minolta, Ricoh), lamination machines, and spiral binding equipment.

2. Equipment Sales & Reconditioned Systems

• Warranty Coverage: New equipment is covered by standard manufacturer warranties. Reconditioned systems and refurbished components carry a limited warranty as explicitly stated in the sale invoice or service agreement.

• Inspection & Acceptance: Customers must inspect machinery and parts upon delivery. Any physical damage or discrepancies must be reported within 24 hours of installation or delivery.

3. Equipment Rental Agreements

• Ownership: All rented machinery remains the exclusive property of Dark Line Systems. Renters acquire no title or ownership rights.

• Site Requirements & Care: Renters are responsible for providing adequate operating conditions, including stable power supply, voltage stabilizers (where required), and proper operating environments.

• Servicing & Tampering: All maintenance and repairs on rental units must be performed exclusively by Dark Line Systems technicians. Unauthorized repairs, third-party servicing, or non-approved toner/parts strictly violate the agreement.

• Repossession: Failure to pay rental fees or breach of terms grants Dark Line Systems the right to terminate the rental and repossess the equipment without prior court order.

4. Spare Parts & Consumables

• Returns & Replacements: Electrical or electronic spare parts once sold are non-refundable unless found to be defective prior to installation and verified by our technician.

• Compatibility: Dark Line Systems ensures component suitability for services conducted by our staff. For over-the-counter part sales, compatibility verification remains the customer's responsibility prior to purchase.

5. Payments & Billing

• Invoice payments for equipment, rentals, and service contracts must be settled according to the payment terms specified on the invoice.

• Service calls or part damage resulting from power fluctuations, paper jams caused by substandard media, or operator negligence will be billed separately.

6. Limitation of Liability

Dark Line Systems shall not be held liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages, including loss of business profit, paper wastage, or operational downtime caused by machine breakdowns or delays in component availability.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
